About Opal

Opal Dalton is a Christian author, inspirational speaker, and producer of the Steppin’ Out Blessed television program. Through her books, speaking engagements, and media ministry, she is dedicated to sharing God’s Word with authenticity, hope, and encouragement. Her passion is to inspire people to strengthen their faith, trust God’s promises, and discover His purpose for their lives.

Opal Dalton is an East Tennessee native, author, speaker, and producer of the Steppin’ Out Blessed television program. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Don Dalton, for more than 64 years. Together they have built a legacy of faith as devoted parents, grandparents, pastors, and ministry leaders.

In 1993, Opal and Don founded Flying Higher Ministries with a passion to share the love of Jesus Christ and see lives transformed through the power of God’s Word. Throughout their years of ministry, they have led numerous outreach efforts, faithfully serving their communities and advancing God’s Kingdom. As pastors, they have helped refurbish and restore closed church buildings, giving them new purpose as places of worship, hope, and ministry.
